The Listeningstone Project

The Listening stone project is an eight week programme aimed at primary school children age between 5-10 yr olds  It has been developed by Donna Jennings a dramatherapist actor and author with a focus on helping children improve their emotional and mental health and well-being. The project will focus on issues and themes such as Loss, friendship, identity, fears, anxieties, and depression in a fun /safe creative expressive space. It will begin with a twenty minute theatre piece of the Listening Stone Story using puppets, dance and music followed by a one hour weekly workshop specifically aimed at the needs of the children.  Children will be offered to be a part of the programme following a full referral and assessment procedure.
